Sagebrush Urbanity II: Nevada Humanities, 1990-2006 A history of Nevada Humanities takes advantage of the organizational memory held by long-time director Judith Winzeler. Winzeler notes that the publication is a tribute to the many Nevadans who have given tirelessly of themselves to advance the humanities in Nevada. It describes the organization's various programs, and places its activities within the context of an ever-changing political environment. The publication is available for purchase from Nevada Humanities for $12.95. Nevada Humanities is the only one of the 56 state humanities councils that has a published history.
