Humanities on the Road
Humanities on the Road is a speakers bureau that sends Nevada's college professors, writers and other scholars "on the road." For a modest fee, Humanities on the Road makes high-quality programs on literary and historical subjects available to audiences throughout the state. Two types of programs are available— lectures and Chautauqua presentations. Chautauqua presentations are portrayals of significant historical figures by humanities scholars.
Humanities on the Road programs are available to any non-profit organization in Nevada. They are frequently used by libraries, community centers, churches, service clubs and schools. Most of the programs can be tailored to both adult and student groups.
